This includes items that promote behavioural regulation, physical development, independence, wellbeing, social inclusion and more. They provide assistance that is not accessible through government funding or alternative services.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this grant you are required to meet the following criteria:
- Child is residing in WA
- Child is aged 0-17 (must be under 18 at time of submission)
- Child has a disability or sickness (long-term health condition)
- The equipment is not available via government funding or alternative sources
Ineligible
- Items where funding is available from the government or other grant funds
- Individuals 18 years of age and older
- Projects that require recurring funding
- Expenses considered to be part of an individual’s typical cost of living
- Travel expenses – including public transport and petrol
- Warranties, insurance, maintenance, service agreements, batteries, repairs
- Retrospective expenses
- Incomplete application forms
- Services or therapies
