Eligible Projects
Projects must demonstrate a strong focus on supporting women and children affected by hardship or disadvantage and on tackling the issues they face in order to make a lasting difference to their lives and life chances.
Eligibility Criteria
- They support Scottish charities, groups and projects, whether national or community-based, which alleviate social deprivation, particularly concerned with women, children and young people at risk.
- To help you to determine whether your project meets their funding criteria they’ve put together a short series of questions:
- Is your organisation a registered charity, community interest company, community organisation or social enterprise?
- Is the project and funding required specifically related to the Covid-19 pandemic?
- Does your organisation directly help with the alleviation of social deprivation and vulnerable groups who have been particularly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic?
- Is the funding for project, running or core costs including the purchase of medical equipment or PPE in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic?
- Does your organisation have its own bank account with at least two unrelated cheque signatories?
- Are your organisation’s accounts independently audited each year?
- If you answered ‘Yes’ to all 6 questions, your project may be eligible for funding.
Note: They receive far more applications than they are able to fund, so even if you meet the criteria this is not a guarantee that they will be able to support your project, as competition for funding is high.
