The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is seeking applications for its Reforestation Grants with an aim to support communities in regaining ecological integrity and enhancing human wellbeing in deforested and degraded landscapes through forest restoration.

A detailed project budget (not exceeding USD$20,000)
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant’s organization must be legally registered in an eligible country.
- Applicant’s organization must conduct reforestation/restoration activities in a WWF-US priority ecoregion.
- Applicant’s organization must submit all required documents by one of the application deadlines.
- Applicant’s organization must complete all grant activities before August 31, 2017.
- The proposed project must take place at least 90 days after one of the application deadlines.
- The proposed project must include an active learning, practical skill component, or field-based learning activity that builds skills and knowledge for local stakeholders as part of the project activities.
Priority is given to local organizations that:
- conduct cost effective, native tree planting activities
- focus on priority species (including tigers, forest elephants, and sloths)
- have not yet benefited from this opportunity
