Deadline: 07-Apr-21
The WWOOF- USA is currently accepting proposals for the Future Farmers Grant Program to create empowering connections between organic food, farming, and people. Access to food, farmland, and resources in the agricultural community is not equal, and centuries of institutional racism, oppression, and the devastating impacts of COVID-19 have shed light on these inequities in American food systems.
WWOOF-USA is committed to providing inclusive opportunities and building resiliency for the future and providing accessible educational opportunities to all people that want to connect with where their food comes from, support organic farmers, and learn how to grow their own food. They are also committed to assisting the next generation of farmers to get a head start through educational WWOOFing experiences and increasing the diversity of farm operators in the USA.
