Deadline: 17 November 2025
The World Food Programme (WFP) has launched a call for proposals aimed at enhancing sustainable agricultural and agri-food production in Burkina Faso through strengthened local expertise and community-based interventions.
The focus areas of this initiative include promoting local expertise in agricultural and agri-food equipment, reinforcing commitment to national priorities, aligning with the guidelines defined by the National Strategic Framework, integrating various sectoral programs and projects, strengthening national systems, advancing acceleration initiatives, and supporting the agro-pastoral offensive for food sovereignty.
This call for proposals seeks to select a cooperating partner—specifically an NGO or development association—operating in the field of agricultural and agri-food production technology development. The selected partner will work to strengthen the technical, organizational, and material capacities of producer organizations to promote sustainable agriculture and high-quality agri-food processing. The interventions will target the Goulmu Region in the Est area of Burkina Faso.
The selected cooperating partner will be responsible for providing support to small-scale producers, enhancing their organizational structure, and building their capacity to ensure improved food security and agricultural resilience. Eligible applicants must be non-profit organizations duly registered in Burkina Faso and operational within the designated intervention areas.
