The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking the services of a technical service provider to support restoration of Livelihoods restoration and facilitation of alternative livelihood opportunities for 2000 women from vulnerable communities in Bangalore Rural district, Karnataka.
The objective is to provide support through provisioning of training on financial literacy, digital literacy, facilitating new market and financial linkage including e-markets and enhancing access to financial incentives, psycho-social support, handholding support to the existing women micro enterprises/SHGs and social protection measures and input supplies in line with existing Biz Sakhi training manuals.
Program Activities
- Identification and mobilization
- Customisation of Training and IEC materials
- Awareness, Training and Capacity Building of community cadres and micro
- Entrepreneurs/SHGsand other affected individuals
- Business/ entrepreneurship development advisory and market linkages for economic restoration
Duration of the Assignment
- To be completed by26thFebruary 2021 (with specific deadlines for each deliverable).
Eligibility Criteria
- At least 3 years of working experience with women community cadres and women micro enterprises in Bangalore Rural District.
- At least 3 years of experience in women micro enterprise training, forward-backward linkages, handholding support to women network in Bangalore Rural District.
- At least 2 years of experience, proven capacity and partnership with financial institution and supporting micro-entrepreneurs.
