The 3rd Edition of Temporary Reception Program for Journalists is a humanitarian action project of the Spanish section of Reporters Without Borders (RSF), which has been launched with the support of the Madrid City Council.
The objective of this period is to offer a break for journalists living in a tense professional situation, as well as the opportunity to upgrade professionally by attending courses in Spain.
In this edition of the program, RSF-Spain and the Madrid City Council will host four journalists from different Latin American countries.
Requirements:
- Be an active professional journalist.
- Practice your profession in any country in Latin America.
- Being or having been a victim of censorship, threats and / or attacks as a result of their informative work.
- Have availability to stay three months in Spain.
Program Include
- PCR tests before and after the stay in Spain;
- Flights to and from journalists;
- Accommodation for three months in the Community of Madrid;
- Maintenance;
- Public transportation expenses;
- Health insurance;
- Course enrollment.
