Deadline: 17-Oct-2025
The Transatlantic Foundation (TF), in cooperation with the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation of the German Marshall Fund of the United States, is launching a dedicated call for proposals for CSOs from the EaP countries to apply for networking grants to support collaborative projects.
This grant supports a variety of activities designed to strengthen connections and collaboration among organizations across multiple countries.
The funding can be used to organize conferences, workshops, and online platforms that bring together CSOs from the region. These activities help build vibrant networks that can tackle shared challenges and explore new opportunities collectively. Cross-border cooperation is a key focus, encouraging collaborative initiatives that address issues common to different countries.
CSOs can also use the grant to facilitate the exchange of best practices, lessons learned, and innovative approaches. This sharing of knowledge enhances the effectiveness of organizations and promotes stronger regional partnerships. Additionally, the funding supports joint advocacy efforts, helping CSOs amplify their collective voice in policy discussions and civic engagement.
The networking projects can cover a range of important topics such as democracy promotion, civic engagement, human rights, media, disinformation, transparency, and the rule of law. This diversity allows organizations to address pressing issues while building a cohesive regional response.
Each grant offers 30,000 EUR and supports projects lasting up to 12 months. The funds cover both logistical and content-related costs for various types of gatherings and activities. This financial support is designed to empower CSOs to build robust regional networks capable of driving positive change throughout the EaP region.
To qualify for the grant, CSOs must demonstrate their ability to lead regional networking or cooperation projects. Projects should involve organizations from at least three different EaP countries and ideally include CSOs registered and active in the region. Applicants need to clearly explain the need for funding and how the project will strengthen existing partnerships or create new collaborative opportunities.
This grant offers a meaningful chance for CSOs to deepen their regional ties, enhance collective impact, and advance civil society efforts across the Eastern Partnership countries.
