Nominations are open for Petrobras Journalism Award to recognize and value the work of journalists and the great reports made with seriousness, transparency and, above all, independence.
Prize Categories
- Big prize: The prize will be conferred by the Judging Commission for the best report, among all those inscribed and selected by the Pre-selection Commission.
- Special Innovation Award: The Judging Commission will award the Special Innovation Prize to work that stands out for its originality of format, technique, approach, medium and / or language.
- Economy: Reports from newspapers, magazines and internet news portals that talk about the economic situation, the business sector and the Brazilian industry, science and technology News articles, magazines and internet news portals that talk about science, technology and innovation in Brazil.
- Sustainability: Articles from newspapers, magazines and internet news portals that talk about environment and social issues of impact in Brazil.
- Culture: Reports from newspapers, magazines and internet news portals that address cultural and artistic manifestations of the country.
- Sport: Reports from newspapers, magazines and internet news portals that talk about professional or amateur sports activities, individual or collective in Brazil.
- Telejournalism: Reports from television stations on any of the themes of the V Petrobras Journalism Award (Economy, Science and Technology, Sustainability, Culture and Sport).
- Radiojournalism: Reports from radio stations on any of the themes of the V Petrobras Journalism Award (Economy, Science and Technology, Sustainability, Culture and Sport).
- Photojournalism: Photographic coverages on any of the themes of the V Petrobras Journalism Award that were able to convey the impact of day-to-day scenes or of striking events in Brazil.
- Regional North / Central West: Reportages of newspapers, magazines, radio and television stations and news portals in the Internet based in Goiás, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rondônia, Acre, Amazonas, Roraima, Amapá, Pará, Tocantins, and the Federal District.
- Regional Northeast: Reports published or published in newspapers, magazines, radio and television stations and news portals in the Internet based in Alagoas, Bahia, Ceará, Maranhão, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Piauí, Sergipe and Rio Grande do Norte.
- Regional RJ-MG-ES: Reports published or published in newspapers, magazines, television stations, radio stations and news portals on the internet based in the states of Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo.
- Regional SP-South: Reports published or published in newspapers, magazines, television stations, radio stations and news portals on the Internet based in. And Paraná.
Eligibility Criteria
- Each photographer can enter up to 6 (six) different works, photos or series, in the thematic category. Each job must be separately entered into the system.
- Photographic coverages on any of the related subjects (Science and Technology, Culture, Economy, Sport and Sustainability) can be inscribed, which, alone or as an integral part of the reports, were able to convey the impact of day-to-day scenes or events the disseminating role of information.
- Photographs with digital manipulation that change their content will not be accepted.
- Submissions of photographic reports that have serial features will take into account only the photos published in the same edition of the vehicle.
