The JX Fund is inviting applications from established, independent Belarusian media operating in exile. The goal is to provide financial support to help these outlets maintain sustainable operations while based abroad.
The fund emphasizes the importance of a diverse and independent media landscape that reflects a broad range of perspectives and ensures continued access to vital information. It acknowledges that exile brings unique challenges and that success shouldn’t be measured only by numbers or constant growth.
Eligible applicants can receive up to €20,000 in funding for the period from August 1 to November 30, 2025. Only non-profit media organizations that have been consistently producing content for at least one year are eligible to apply.
However, media linked to state actors, politically exposed persons, or political parties are not eligible. Outlets must have a verified audience in Belarus; purely diaspora media will not be considered. Additionally, the fund does not support projects focused solely on activism or human rights.
