The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), under the Executive Office of the President, is inviting applications for the Model Acts Program. This opportunity is open to national nonprofit organizations with a strong background in drafting and updating state drug laws.
Applicants should have broad experience at the national level, including expertise in providing technical assistance and training related to model drug legislation. They must also be skilled in conducting research, analysis, and advising states on drug policy reform.
The program will provide funding of up to $2,500,000. Only one award is expected to be made, covering a two-year performance period starting in September 2025.
Nonprofit organizations, including institutions of higher education, are eligible to apply. All applicants must demonstrate their capacity to guide states in effectively developing or revising legislation to address issues related to illicit drugs.
