Dekabristen e.V. is currently inviting applications for its Artist in Residence Program “Creative Peacebuilding”. Artistic expression, a universal tongue regardless of nation and creed, becomes one of the sole means to fostering sympathy and understanding between warring parties.
The program will begin with an introductory seminar in Tbilisi, Georgia, September 9-11, 2016. After the seminar, the participants will spend up to 4 weeks in artist residencies organized with the support of the German Federal Foreign Office, Dekabristen e.V. and partners in Baku, Yerevan, Tbilisi, Mariupol, Kharkov, Kiev, Voronezh and St.Petersburg, to further their artistic exploration.

Funding Information
Dekabristen e.V. will provide a stipend of 500€ and travel costs reimbursement up to 320€.
Eligibility Criteria
The program is open to young visual artists and photographers between ages of 18 and 35 from the countries mentioned below.
