The Baptist Insurance has long been dedicated to protecting the life and work of churches, offering much more than just insurance policies.
Their commitment extends to supporting people and organisations that make a real difference by enriching the lives of others. One of the ways they do this is through their grant-giving programme, which provides funding to Baptist churches for evangelism and outreach within local communities. Grants typically range from £2,000 to £20,000, with the average award being less than £10,000.
Funding is available for community outreach projects with a strong focus on helping people become followers of Christ, staffing costs for roles dedicated to evangelism, church planting, and pioneering or creative forms of outreach that enable the Gospel to be shared with those who have not yet heard it. However, the fund does not cover regular pastoral ministry, routine activities such as Sunday Schools or small groups, building projects, maintenance, equipment, overseas projects (already supported through BMS World Mission and the European Baptist Federation), or individual studies.
Through this initiative, Baptist Insurance continues to demonstrate its passion for empowering churches to reach their communities in meaningful, faith-driven ways.
