Deadline: 01-Dec-2025
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND Program invites Postdoctoral Researchers of any nationality to academic and non-academic research organizations in Türkiye, with the goal of enhancing their career development.
This opportunity allows researchers to diversify their skills through advanced training, international collaboration, and intersectoral mobility by engaging in incoming mobility to Türkiye. The program enhances researchers’ professional development and fosters knowledge transfer across disciplines and sectors through advanced training, international collaboration, and intersectoral exchange.
The program facilitates the mobility of Postdoctoral Researchers of any nationality to academic and non-academic research-performing organizations in Türkiye. Fellows will receive support for up to 24 months, with the option of shorter projects lasting no less than 12 months.
Additionally, applicants may propose an extra non-academic placement period of up to 12 months at the end of the fellowship, which must take place in a non-academic institution established in the Turkish Research Area. This placement is optional and not required at the proposal submission stage. Financial support for such placements is provided through contributions from both TÜBİTAK and the host institution.
The fellowship offers a living allowance, family allowance, research, training and networking costs, and an entrepreneurship allowance. CoCirculation3 fellows cannot receive financial support from other TÜBİTAK funding programs, although they may still participate in different TÜBİTAK projects in various roles.
Secondment opportunities are also available, allowing researchers to undertake phases either in Türkiye or abroad. These secondments can last up to six months, must be aligned with the project objectives, and cannot be conducted during the last six months of the fellowship. If undertaken abroad, TÜBİTAK provides an additional top-up allowance based on the destination country.
Eligibility for this program is open to postdoctoral researchers of any nationality, with no age restrictions. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree or have successfully defended their thesis before the application deadline of December 1, 2025. They must also comply with the mobility rule, ensuring they have not resided or carried out their main activities in Türkiye for more than 12 months within the 36 months prior to the deadline. Applicants who are permanently employed by their proposed host institution are not eligible, unless applying with a different host.
Applications require submission of a detailed research proposal, a curriculum vitae using the designated template, proof of doctoral degree, and a Letter of Support from the host institution. Those proposing secondments must also include a Letter of Support from the co-host institution. All applications must be submitted online through the TÜBİTAK MIS system, and registration in the ARBİS database is mandatory.
Applications undergo an admissibility and eligibility check, followed by peer review evaluation by external experts. Proposals are grouped into either the Standard Panel or the Society and Enterprise Panel, with applicants selecting their preferred option. The final distribution of funding depends on the number of eligible proposals received in each panel.
The deadline for applications is 1 December 2025.
