To be eligible, you must be a student or early-career professional from any discipline and at least 18 years old when you apply. You should meet at least one of the following criteria: currently enrolled in university, currently a postdoc, or have received your Bachelor’s degree within the last 10 years, Master’s within the last 7 years, or PhD within the last 5 years. An MD is treated like a Master’s degree, and a Dr. med. is considered equivalent to a PhD. The foundation recognizes a wide range of academic qualifications from around the world.
Applications must be submitted in English, and you can only apply once. Travel and accommodation for international Falling Walls Labs are generally not covered unless specified by local organizers. This is a one-time opportunity—if you’ve participated before, you can’t apply again. No ticket purchase is needed to apply.
