The UX/UI Design Program aims to equip participants with essential UI and UX skills, focusing on creating professional, user-centered interfaces that meet job market demands.
Participants will learn core concepts of UI and UX design, including how to conduct user research and identify user needs using a human-centered design approach. The program also teaches how to develop professional interfaces using the Figma design tool.
The program’s goals are to increase the number of skilled UI and UX professionals, provide fundamental knowledge of the design process, and empower participants to create applications or websites that solve user problems across different life areas.
Key topics include digital product essentials, basics of UI/UX design, layout grid principles, user experience journey, career paths in UX, and human-centered design methodology. Participants will also learn user interface design steps and principles, UX research techniques, goal setting, and research planning.
The program emphasizes creating impactful case studies, building soft skills for UX designers, developing professional portfolios, and best practices for design handoff. It culminates in a comprehensive final project that applies all the learned concepts and skills to a real-world scenario.
The program runs for 8 weeks, with 5 hours of study per day, and is delivered in Arabic. To participate, applicants must be Saudi nationals, recent graduates seeking employment, hold a degree in a technical discipline, pass the admissions process, have a personal laptop, and be available to attend the full duration of the course.
