Deadline: 18-Aug-2025
The Public Diplomacy Section at the U.S. Embassy in Amman is inviting proposals that highlight America’s strengths—its historical milestones, innovation, leadership, cultural richness, and spirit of volunteerism—to foster greater understanding among Jordanians of the United States’ legacy and contributions.
Projects should promote the United States as a global leader in innovation across fields like science, technology, the arts, sports, and culture. Emphasis should be placed on achievements in artificial intelligence, biomedical sciences, cybersecurity, space exploration, and other frontier technologies. Proposals may also celebrate American influence in creative sectors such as film, music, literature, fashion, and gaming.
Another focus is to engage Jordanians with stories from American history, including foundational documents and the ongoing effort to create a more perfect union. Projects should also reflect on the evolution of U.S.-Jordan relations, showcasing collaborative efforts in addressing shared challenges.
The program encourages initiatives that strengthen civic engagement, inspired by the “America Gives” campaign under America250. Proposals may include activities that promote service, volunteerism, and highlight American values such as liberty, partnership, and open markets.
Funding ranges from $50,000 to $100,000, with all projects expected to be completed by July 31, 2026. Eligible applicants include U.S. and Jordanian not-for-profit organizations, think tanks, NGOs, and public or private educational institutions. Proposals should also clearly address the ongoing and future collaboration between the United States and Jordan.
