Deadline: 14-Sep-2025
In partnership with the Lithuanian Culture Institute, Delfina Foundation is accepting applications from Lithuanian artists for a twelve-week residency in London.
The residency will run from January 6 to March 27, 2026. During this time, practitioners are given the opportunity to develop their work, with a program that includes meeting with artists, curators, academics, and researchers through organized presentations, studio visits, and events. The residency also offers professional development activities like presentations, crits, portfolio reviews, and mentoring. Residents will also have opportunities for collaborative exchange and guided visits to museums, galleries, and other institutions in and outside of London.
The selected applicant will receive a twelve-week residency at Delfina Foundation. This includes a roundtrip economy-class flight, airport transfers in the UK, and a reimbursement of the visa fee if required. The resident will also receive a living allowance of £40 per day, a materials budget of £1,000, and a local travel pass. Accommodation consists of a single bedroom in a house shared with up to eight residents, with shared facilities including bathrooms, laundry rooms, a kitchen, library, and dining room.
To be eligible, applicants must be a contemporary artist living and working in Lithuania, or a Lithuanian citizen living and working abroad. They should have been active in the Lithuanian art scene and collaborating with Lithuanian cultural organizations for at least three years. Applicants must be seeking an opportunity to develop their practice through research, be able to explain how the residency will benefit their career, and be proficient in English.
To apply, you must complete and submit the application form. The application deadline is Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 23:59 BST. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an online interview by early October 2025, and all applicants will be notified of the panel’s decision by mid-October 2025.
