Falling Walls Lab is coming to Togo. If you have a groundbreaking idea that can drive progress in science and society, this is your chance to share it. Present your innovation in a three-minute pitch and show which wall your research aims to break.
To be eligible, you must be a student or early-career professional from any discipline and at least 18 years old when submitting your application. You also need to meet at least one of the following: currently enrolled in university, currently a postdoc, or having received a Bachelor’s degree within the last 10 years, a Master’s degree within the last 7 years, or a PhD within the last 5 years.
An MD without a doctoral dissertation is considered equivalent to a Master’s degree, while a Dr. med. with a doctoral dissertation is regarded as equivalent to a PhD. The program recognizes the global diversity of academic degrees.
Applications must be submitted in English, and only one application per person is allowed. Travel and accommodation expenses for international Falling Walls Labs will not be covered unless stated otherwise by local organizers. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and past participants are not eligible to apply again. No ticket purchase is necessary to apply to an international Falling Walls Lab.
