Deadline: 15-Nov-2025
The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation has launched its Fellowship Research Grant Program to support research about Louisiana’s diverse music, cultural, and artistic heritage.
The Fellowship Research Grant aims to promote the scholarly use of the Jazz and Heritage Archive’s collections, support new documentation projects that generate valuable primary resource materials for future research, and foster regional scholarship.
Recipients selected for the program will receive $5,000 from the Jazz & Heritage Archive. The grant is designed to recognize and support individuals engaged in meaningful academic, independent, or community-based research that contributes to the understanding and preservation of jazz and heritage.
Eligibility for the program includes academic, independent, or community scholars with a considerable record of achievement. Applicants from the United States or abroad are welcome to apply, ensuring a diverse and global pool of candidates. Only one submission per applicant is permitted, and incomplete or late applications will not be reviewed.
Applications must be submitted online through the designated portal, as paper submissions will not be accepted. Applicants are encouraged to download copies of all submitted forms for their records. Once the form is submitted, it cannot be edited, though applicants needing to make corrections may contact the Grants Department.
The deadline for submission is 15 November 2025, and applicants are urged to prepare their materials early to ensure timely completion.
