Deadline: 31-Oct-2025
The Emerging Innovation Grants (EIG) program offers seed funding to support novel and pioneering research projects in orthodontics, aiming to drive breakthrough advancements across all stages of development—from early concepts to real-world applications.
The program provides two funding tiers: Early-Stage Grants of $15,000 for testing fundamental hypotheses and exploring new research directions, and Mid-Level Grants of $30,000 for scaling validated ideas into practical solutions.
Eligibility is based on the innovation and potential impact of the proposed project, not the applicant’s academic or professional background. The program is open to a diverse range of innovators, including those from fields outside traditional orthodontics, such as engineering or medicine.
To ensure clinical relevance, applicants without a dental background must collaborate with a dentist or orthodontist. This requirement encourages interdisciplinary approaches while keeping the research grounded in orthodontic practice.
