Applicants are now being invited to submit their applications for the 2023 Hiyoshi Awards to recognize those who are doing novel, innovative, outstanding scientific research and application in the field of environmental conservation and protection in India.
The Hiyoshi Corporation Japan, ABK AOTS DOSOKAI Tamilnadu Centre, Chennai and Hiyoshi India Ecological Services Private Limited, Chennai jointly organised “Hiyoshi Awards”.
Award Categories and Prizes
- “Hiyoshi Environmental Award”
- Annual prestigious award for outstanding contribution for the fundamental research on Environmental Conservation and Protection.
- This award will be given to one person and comprises of a memento, cash prize of Rs. 25,000 and a citation.
- “Hiyoshi Think of Ecology Award”
- Annual prestigious award for outstanding contribution for applied study on Environmental Conservation and Protection.
- This award will be given to one person and comprises of a memento, cash prize of Rs. 25,000 and a citation.
- “Hiyoshi Young Leaf Award”
- Annual prestigious award for outstanding contribution by young researcher for research on Environmental Conservation and Protection.
- This award will be given to one person and comprises of a memento, cash prize of Rs. 15,000 and a citation.
Eligibility Criteria
- “Hiyoshi Environmental Award” and “Hiyoshi Think of Ecology Award”
- This award is open to research scientist (resident of Indian citizens) who is working in government research institutions/universities and registered private research organization in India.
- The applicant should have minimum five years of research experience in environmental conservation and must have done outstanding contribution in Research, Design & Methodology Development, Application of Science and Technology for the Protection and Conservation of Environment.
- Individuals who have received this award earlier are not eligible for consideration.
- This award is open to research scientist (resident of Indian citizens) who is working in government research institutions/universities and registered private research organization in India.
- “Hiyoshi Young Leaf Award”
- This award is open to young researcher (resident of Indian citizens) who is working in government research institutions/universities and registered private research organization in India.
- The applicant should have done outstanding contribution in Research, Design & Methodology Development, Application of Science and Technology for the Protection and Conservation of Environment.
- The applicant age should not be more than 35 years.
- Individuals who have received this award earlier are not eligible for consideration.
- This award is open to young researcher (resident of Indian citizens) who is working in government research institutions/universities and registered private research organization in India.
