Deadline: 17 November 2025
The World Food Programme (WFP) has launched a call for proposals to identify a cooperating partner to support agricultural and agri-food production technology development in Burkina Faso’s Centre-Nord region.
The focus of this initiative aligns with the government’s national vision on promoting local expertise in agricultural and agro-industrial equipment. Through this program, WFP reinforces its commitment to national priorities, the guidelines defined by the National Strategic Framework, various sectoral programs and projects, the strengthening of national systems, acceleration initiatives, and the agro-pastoral offensive for food sovereignty.
This call for proposals seeks to select a cooperating partner, such as an NGO or Development Association, that will work to strengthen the technical, organizational, and material capacities of producer organizations for sustainable agriculture and quality agri-food processing. The interventions will target the Koulse Region, where the selected partner will provide direct support to small-scale producers, assist with organizational development, and enhance capacity building to promote long-term agricultural resilience.
Potential cooperating partners must be active and duly registered non-profit organizations operating in Burkina Faso, particularly in the specified intervention areas. This initiative reflects WFP’s continued efforts to improve food security, foster sustainable production, and promote inclusive agricultural systems that contribute to national food sovereignty.
