Deadline: 20-Nov-2025
The Digital Defenders Partnership (DDP) is inviting applications from Southeast Asia, South Asia, and East Asia for the 2025 round of the Sustainable Protection Fund to strengthen long-term digital security capacities within human rights organisations and collectives.
The focus of the Sustainable Protection Fund 2025 is on environmental rights defenders organisations or networks, Human Rights organisations documenting Human Rights violations, LGBTQI+ rights defenders organisations, and labour rights organisations.
Eligible organisations can apply for grants of up to €15,000, which can support activities for a period of up to one year.
This funding opportunity seeks to empower human rights-focused entities to build resilience against digital threats through sustainable strategies and capacity-building measures. The fund supports initiatives that address the evolving challenges of online safety, privacy, and secure information management, especially for groups that are most vulnerable to digital risks due to the nature of their work.
Through this initiative, DDP aims to foster stronger, safer, and more sustainable digital environments for defenders working on critical issues of rights, justice, and equality across Asia.
