Deadline: 30-Oct-2025
The GLFx initiative is opening a call to support new GLFx chapters that are leading action on the ground for the sustainability of Africa’s landscapes, with seed funding of EUR 5,000.
GLFx chapters support activities such as ecosystem restoration, biodiversity conservation, agroforestry, soil recovery, and community-driven stewardship. Selected organizations gain access to opportunities for networking, peer learning, media exposure, seed funding, and global visibility through the GLF platform.
Applicants must be locally rooted, community-oriented groups led by people from the region where they operate. Their work should focus on sustainable land use, climate resilience, social inclusion, and partnership building across landscape stakeholders. Organizations should have the capacity to manage funds and maintain administrative structure.
If accepted, chapters will engage in regular collaboration with the GLF team and other chapters, contributing updates on their work, participating in joint learning and funding opportunities, and elevating local innovations to international audiences. This call offers a powerful opportunity for locally-driven actors to amplify their impact, share knowledge globally, and catalyze change across landscapes.
