Sustainability Project Idea Competition is a social investment program that provides opportunities for young people, contributes to the personal development of young people, encourages young people to have a voice in solving social problems as active and participating citizens.
The main purpose of the project is to encourage young people to take responsibility as active citizens, to ensure sustainable development goals and to achieve them. It was beneficial to start with Sustainable Development Goals.
Objectives
- General Objectives of the Program:
- Creating active, participative and sensitive youth.
- Providing innovative and sustainable social benefits by directing youth to production.
- Special Objectives of the Program:
- To develop awareness of sustainability, teamwork, project development, problem solving, leadership, responsible citizenship in young people.
- To support the creation of alternative solutions through the youth channel in the sustainable development agenda.
- To help develop a creative product, a social enterprise or a sustainable project idea.
Award Information
The prize amounts to be given to the first 3 projects to be selected within the scope of the competition are as follows:
- First Prize: 25.000 TL
- Second Prize: 20.000 TL
- Third Prize: 15.000 TL
Project Types
Project ideas detailed with the project application form and developed in accordance with sustainable development objectives will be evaluated within the scope of this competition.
Type of Activities
The proposed projects may include the activities listed below for project purposes. These activities are given as examples and are not limited to those listed below:
- To inform with the organization of seminars, conferences, discussions, workshops.
- Connecting to networking activities, increasing communication.
- Enabling information sharing with the use of technology and social media.
- To make public information and dissemination campaigns.
- Youth festivals, concerts, summer camps etc. to share with.
- Disseminating information through websites, media bulletins, news magazines and other media.
- Developing innovative product prototypes.
Criteria
- Competition 15-35 is open to applicants between the ages of all citizens of the Republic of Turkey.
- Competitors can participate in the competition individually or with teams of maximum 3 people. All contestants in the team must meet the conditions of participation.
- For each added project, the information of the team members must be entered separately by the applicant.
- No application can be made again with projects that have won awards by participating in any contest.
- Professionals who work in the field of sustainable development cannot participate in the competition.
- An applicant may not receive more than one prize under this competition.
- On behalf of the competitors who will participate in the competition, the team leader must fill in the application form on the web page of the competition until the deadline of the competition. After the application process is completed, the team leader can add other members.
- Projects prepared within the institutions cannot participate in the competition.
