mHub is excited to partner with US Embassy Lilongwe in Malawi for the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs in Malawi Program #AWEinMalawi.
The Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) is an initiative of the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) developed to support the White House-led Women’s Global Development and Prosperity (W-GDP) Initiative which aims to empower 50 million women worldwide by 2025 to fulfil their economic potential, creating conditions for increased stability, security, and prosperity for all. AWE is centered on Dream Builder, an online training platform developed by Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Management, and facilitated by experts.
Female entrepreneurs nationwide will be selected for an opportunity to acquire capacity strengthening business skills and mentorship.
Who should apply for AWE MALAWI 2020/2021?
- Female college graduates;
- Must have a business idea or an existing business;
- Aged between 22-35;
- Fluent in English;
- Must be Malawian/ resident in Malawi;
- Computer literate and have access to a laptop or computer.
