Deadline: 12-Nov-2025
The Keychange is inviting applications for its Talent Leadership Programme (TLP), a six-month training for women and gender-diverse individuals ready to lead change in the music industry.
The programme focuses on Knowledge and Tools, providing training in leadership, innovation, and driving social change with a focus on DEIA; Hands-On Experience, allowing participants to develop their own initiatives or contribute to impactful projects; Personalised Mentorship, offering one-on-one guidance from an experienced leader to shape individual leadership styles; and a Supportive Network, enabling collaboration with fellow participants, experts, and the Keychange team in a safe and inclusive environment.
The TLP is a 6-month interactive training programme designed to prepare participants as DEIA change leaders. The programme begins at Tallinn Music Week in Estonia in April 2026 and concludes at the Reeperbahn Festival in Germany in September 2026, with an online kick-off meeting scheduled in March 2026. Participants are required to attend two in-person events: the opening Talent Lab at Tallinn Music Week from 9th to 12th April 2026, and the programme wrap-up at the Reeperbahn Festival from 16th to 19th September 2026.
Throughout the six months, participants will engage in 24 sessions, each lasting two hours per week, with every fourth week free from activities. In addition, participants should expect to dedicate an average of four hours per week to live sessions and independent work.
The programme accommodates neurodivergence, accessibility needs, and diverse learning styles, ensuring an inclusive experience for all participants. Eligibility requires a minimum of five years of experience in the music industry, or an accumulative three years in music plus two years in the creative industries, along with over one year of DEIA-related experience.
Keychange alumni are ineligible to apply, though Keychange Canada and Keychange Gender Diversity in Radio alumni may apply. Exceptions can be discussed via email. Participants must be based in Creative Europe countries, the UK, Canada, or Switzerland.
To support participation, the TLP offers a baseline travel bursary, additional funds for participants in Canada, those with childcare needs, accessibility requirements, and green top-ups for eco-friendly travel. Visa application support letters are also available if needed.
Applications are evaluated by a selection committee and external advisors based on the quality of work, application content, and the timing for involvement, with shortlisted applicants progressing to a live decision panel.
The application deadline is 12th November 2025 at 5 pm ET/10 pm GMT/11 pm CET.
