Deadline: 17-Nov-2025
The HER Fund has opened applications for its General Grant 2025/26 (Cycle 2), providing crucial funding to support women, girls, and trans communities in Hong Kong.
This program focuses on empowering grassroots organisations and community leaders working to advance gender equality, social inclusion, and systemic change through intersectional and feminist approaches.
Successful applicants can receive up to HKD 80,000 in funding for projects lasting a maximum of 12 months, from 1 March 2026 to 28 February 2027. The grant aims to strengthen organisational resilience, amplify advocacy efforts on gender and sexuality issues, and build networks that promote solidarity and long-term social transformation.
Eligibility extends to any registered group or organisation in Hong Kong, including those with charity status under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance, societies registered under the Societies Ordinance, and limited companies by guarantee.
This funding opportunity offers a valuable platform for local organisations to lead initiatives that challenge inequality and uplift marginalised voices across Hong Kong.
