The GLOBSEC initiative provides financial support to organisations in Moldova that aim to strengthen young people’s resilience against disinformation and foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI). The program focuses on empowering youth through education, awareness, and engagement.
The core purpose is to build stronger media literacy skills, improve critical thinking, and help young people identify and resist manipulated or misleading narratives in digital and offline environments.

Who is Eligible?
- Non-profit and non-governmental organisations registered in Moldova
- Organisations with at least one year of continuous operational activity
- Must maintain non-partisan status
- Must demonstrate transparent governance practices
- Must align with European Union values and principles
Eligible Activities
Organisations may implement the following types of activities:
- Organising events with trained youth participants, including “Disinfo-gurus” from Youth Resilience Camps
- Developing digital awareness campaigns on disinformation and media literacy
- Producing online content such as videos, social media posts, and educational materials
- Conducting community-based workshops and outreach programs
- Implementing initiatives that strengthen youth critical thinking skills, especially in regional areas
- Collaborating with experts trained in disinformation awareness
Funding Details
- Total grant amount: EUR 5,000
- Only one organisation will be selected
- Project implementation period: June to end of November
- Followed by a short reporting period after completion
Payment Structure
- Majority of funding is disbursed at the start of the project
- Remaining portion is released after:
- Completion of planned activities
- Submission and approval of final deliverables
