The Government of Colombia launches the third version of the National Award for Young Talent (PNTJ) in alliance with One Young World (OYW), the global community of young leaders that identifies, promotes and connects the most influential leaders in the world.
The Award brings together the efforts of the Office of the First Lady of the Nation, María Juliana Ruiz, of the Presidential Council for Youth, with the support of Finsocial, and is made possible thanks to funding from the companies Bavaria, Alquería and Ara/ Jerónimo Martins, who are part of the private sector and believe in and bet on the talent of young Colombians.
Categories
- Science and technology: It is related to the technological innovation and development of projects that have the purpose of transforming their environments.
- Cultural and creative industries: Its main objectives are the promotion, production, dissemination or commercialization of activities related to the audiovisual, publishing, phonographic, performing and visual arts, design, advertising, creative and artistic education, news agencies, media services, etc. information, multimedia content and tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
- Green industries and tourism: It focuses on economic and tourism activities that tend to generate environmental and social impacts that contribute to the conservation of the environment.
What does the National Award for Young Talent provide?
- Entrance to the One Young World Summit 2022.
- Meals during the days of the event
- Accommodation in Manchester from September 5 to 8, 2022.
- International transport to Manchester (tourist class).
- Costs associated with the Colombian passport, in case you do not have it.
- International health insurance
- Costs associated with the visa for the United Kingdom in the event that it applies to the young person
- Spanish translation at the Opening Ceremony, Plenary Sessions and Closing Ceremony.

Eligibility Criteria
- Be young people between 18 and 28 years old.
- Have Colombian nationality.
- Resides in the national territory.
- Not having participated in One Young World previously.
- Not be a public official.
- Lead or be part of an initiative framed in any of the 3 award categories.
Criteria
- Relevance, according to the category, of the initiatives you lead or in which you have participated.
- Leadership.
- Impact of the projects carried out.
- Potential benefit for the communities or territories to which it belongs.
- Motivation in which you state the reasons why you want to be part of this initiative.
