The European Youth Foundation (EYF) in collaboration with the European Youth Centre Budapest is organising information and training session for youth non-governmental organisations in Hungary.
The session will:
- Create a space for participants to familiarise themselves with the Council of Europe’s youth sector priorities, educational tools, and grant programmes
- Allow participants to share information on their work, their challenges and needs
- Encourage participants to explore further cooperation with the Council of Europe’s youth sector.
What are the financial conditions for participation?
- They also cover the accommodation and travel costs of participants from outside Budapest, if necessary
What can you expect?
- You will participate in an interactive session, informal discussions and practical workshops. You will learn more about the youth programme of the Council of Europe, including EYF grants and the Council of Europe non-formal education and supporting tools. You will have the possibility to ask questions, participate and exchange on good practices with the organisers. You will also be able to exchange with other participating organisations from Hungary, create new contacts and plan new partnerships.
Location: European Youth Centre in Budapest, on 6 and 7 December 2022.
Eligibility Criteria
Participant profiles
- If you are member of a youth NGO based in Hungary, active at local or national level, this invitation is for you! They are looking for 20 people who:
- Are aged between 18 and 30 (some exceptions for 30+ will be possible).
- Are engaged in youth projects: writing applications, implementing, reporting on projects, or educational work
- Work with and support young people and youth organisations.
- To apply for funding at the EYF, your organisation should be youth-led. You can read more about the EYF’s eligibility criteria on the official website.
- The main working language of the session will be English. Participants who are not fluent in English are also encouraged to apply. Depending on the needs of applicants, parts of the session will be delivered in Hungarian.
