Deadline: 30-Sep-2025
The Institute for Youth Development KULT, as part of the “Stronger Voices for Better Choices” regional initiative, has launched a call for project proposals inviting civil society organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina to step forward with their ideas.
This opportunity targets NGOs that work with young people, especially those from marginalized backgrounds, and tackle socio-economic challenges.
The project is a collaborative effort designed by the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation alongside partners including Beyond Barriers, Youth Alliance, NVO Prima, Democracy for Development, and others, and is supported with funding from the European Union. Local organizations are encouraged to engage, innovate, and bring youth voices to the forefront of decision-making and advocacy.
Selected projects will receive financial support of up to EUR 5,000 per grant. This amount includes co-financing by the applicant, with the grant covering up to 90 percent of eligible costs. The remaining 10 percent must be secured from other sources outside the EU or the European Development Fund. Projects may run for a minimum of six months and up to twelve months, giving organizations flexibility to plan impactful initiatives that fit their capacity and goals.
Applications must be submitted through the provided online form, accompanied by necessary documentation as detailed in the application guidelines. Organizations with questions may seek clarification by emailing before the cut-off in early September, and an online information session will be held roughly two weeks before the deadline to help applicants prepare strong proposals.
Selected NGOs will enter a competitive assessment process where their ability to engage young people, particularly those facing systemic exclusion, will be a key consideration. The process emphasizes meaningful involvement, capacity-building, and the potential for long-term, positive impact at both local and regional levels.
This call represents a meaningful chance for youth-focused NGOs in Bosnia and Herzegovina to strengthen their contribution to regional inclusive development and amplify marginalized youth voices.
