The Inlaks Fine Art Awards support young, emerging Indian artists in building and strengthening their artistic practice. The award enables the recipient to undertake independent work in India for one year. During this period, the artist must attend a recognized art residency program for four weeks within the year, which concludes with an open day event.
The award amount is INR 3,00,000 for one year. It is designed to provide financial and professional support to promising artists early in their careers.
To be eligible, applicants must be Indian citizens currently residing in India and born on or after January 1, 1995.
