Deadline: 31-Dec-2025
The Quick Response Grant – Pathways offers small funding opportunities to help residents of the City of Onkaparinga pursue personal passions that align with the Community Vision 2034. It supports participation in skill development, leadership, or representative sporting activities, whether selected or self-nominated.
Examples of eligible activities include youth development opportunities such as exhibitions or conferences, and participation in representative-level sporting competitions at intrastate, interstate, or international levels.
There are two funding streams: Youth Pathways, which offers up to $500 per person, and Sport Pathways, which offers up to $300 per person. The grant remains open until all available funds are exhausted.
Once an application is assessed and approved, applicants will be notified by email and may be required to sign a funding agreement. For applicants under 18, a parent or guardian must sign on their behalf. Successful applicants must acknowledge council funding in promotional activities and comply with reporting requirements, including how the funds were spent and what was achieved. If the funded activity does not occur or conditions are not met, the funds must be returned.
Applications will not be accepted if required documents are missing, if the activity has already taken place, or if the request is for artistic fees under Youth Pathways or for coaches and support personnel under Sports Pathways. Applications are also ineligible if the applicant lives outside the City of Onkaparinga, is a council employee or elected member, or has unresolved issues with the council such as unacquitted grants or outstanding debts.
To be eligible, applicants must live in the City of Onkaparinga and either be selected for or demonstrate talent in the proposed activity, which must be delivered by a legal entity. Applications must be submitted at least four weeks before the event. Applicants under 18 must include a parent or guardian declaration form.
Applications are assessed on a rolling basis and prioritized by the order in which they are received. Applicants will typically be notified of the outcome within four weeks of submission.
