Regional Office for Youth Cooperation (RYCO) is launching an open call for participation in the capacity building training for project design in the areas of youth mobility, cooperation, activism and intercultural learning in the Western Balkans.
The general goal of the training is to raise the level of knowledge and capacity of non-governmental organizations necessary to independently and successfully prepare project proposals, while respecting the principle of inclusive participation young people.
Through a three-day training, participants will get a theoretical basis in this area, but also the opportunity to learn small groups work on developing universal elements of each project application – from explaining the justification of the project idea, through setting goals and project planning activities, to the formation of a realistic budget and the development of public relations. Also, participants de have the opportunity to get acquainted with the concepts of intercultural learning, reconciliation, youth participation and social inclusion, as well as opportunities to create regional partnerships. In addition, non-governmental organizations will strengthen their capacity to implement intercultural exchange programs young people.
Training Date: 17 – 20.09.2020. year (September 17 – date of arrival and waiting of the program, 20. September – closing date of the training and departure of participants)
Training Place: Hotel Voco Podgorica, Montenegro
Who is the Training for:
The training is intended for representatives of non – governmental organizations in Montenegro who do not own or possess limited experience and knowledge in the preparation of project proposals and their implementation.
The criteria to be taken into account when selecting participants are as follows:
Representatives of non – Governmental Organizations
- Who plan to lead the process / write the project proposal in front of their organization
- Who can dedicate themselves to participating in the training in its entirety
- Those who do not have or have limited experience as holders or partners of regional projects
- NGOs from smaller and / or multiethnic communities are especially encouraged
