The local office of the Regional Office for Youth Cooperation (RYCO) in Serbia is opening an invitation for participation in training to increase capacity in the preparation of mobility projects, regional cooperation, and youth activism in the Western Balkans, for representatives of civil society organizations from Serbia.
The training is supported by the OSCE Mission to Serbia. The training will take place in Vrnjačka Banja (Serbia) on 27 – 30 August 2022.
What is the training for?
- The training is to improve knowledge and strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations to independently and successfully prepare project proposals, while respecting the principles of inclusive youth participation and gender equality. Through the four-day training, the participants will receive a theoretical basis, as well as the opportunity to practically and independently work in small groups on developing universal elements in project applications – from justifying the idea, through setting goals and activities, to forming a realistic budget and considering the relationship with the public. In addition, participants will learn about the concepts of reconciliation, gender inequality, youth participation and social inclusion. as well as the possibilities of establishing partnerships in the region. All participants will also receive a specialized Manual for the preparation of project proposals as well as a participatory social game for involving young people in designing project proposals.
- The training is conducted in the Serbian language.
Eligibility Criteria
The training is intended for representatives of civil society organizations who have no or very little experience in the preparation of project proposals and their implementation. The criteria that will be taken into account during the selection of participants are as follows:
- Who plan to lead the process/write a project proposal in front of their organization
- Who can devote themselves to participating in the training in its entirety
- Who have no or limited experience as holders or partners regional projects
- Koji/e do sada nisu biland holders or partners of the project financed by RYCO
- Civil society organizations from smaller and/or multi-ethnic communities are especially encouraged
