The Sandy Hook Promise is now accepting nominations for the Start With Hello Week Award to honor outstanding student leadership and empathy-building activities that carry forward the spirit of Start with Hello Week throughout the school year.
Prizes
- 1st prize: $1,000 stipend
- 2nd prize: $750 stipend
- 3rd prize: $500 stipend
All three winners will be featured nationally on Sandy Hook Promise’s website and social media
Eligibility Criteria
- Start With Hello Awards are open to any school or youth organization in the United States (50 U.S. States and the District of Columbia) participating in Sandy Hook Promise’s Start With Hello Call To Action Week, September 19 – 23 2022.
- Schools and community-based organizations participating in Start With Hello Week are eligible to apply for the Start With Hello Week Award.
- Students, teachers, and educators in schools or organizations serving grades K – 12.
- Winners will be announced by 11/18/2022.
