The Ministry of Home Affairs in collaboration with MyGov invites the citizens, especially the youth to participate in the “Video Making Contest on Enhancement of Police Transparency in NCL” in its pursuit to make people more aware of the New Criminal Laws.
Focus: Enhancement of Police Transparency in NCL, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam.
The contest calls for videos designed to make people—particularly university and school students—more aware of the New Criminal Laws by focusing on enhancing police transparency under the NCL framework. Submissions are required to be two to five minutes long in MP4 format and must be in Hindi, English, or a regional language. Participants should share their video via a publicly accessible YouTube or Google Drive link on MyGov. The contest opens on August 6, 2025, and closes on September 6, 2025.
The contest is open to Indian citizens. The most compelling entry will receive a prize of ₹10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand Only), providing an incentive to creatively and effectively illuminate police transparency in the context of the new criminal laws.
