The Clutha District Council is calling applications for its Creative Communities Scheme to support a wide range of art projects.
Clutha District Council has a partnership with Creative New Zealand to promote, support, and increase participation in community arts and cultural activities in the Clutha district.
Funding Information
- There is no limit for applications, however, allocations are normally between $200 – $5,000.
Funding Criteria
- Individuals, groups, or organisations can apply, but projects must:
- Take place in the Clutha District
- Benefit communities in the Clutha District
- Not have started or finished before funding is approved
- Be completed within 12 months of funding being approved
- You must be able to provide supporting documents with your application, such as quotes and support letters.
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals or groups can apply for CCS funding.
- Individuals must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.
- If you have already received funding from CCS for a project, you must complete a report on that project
- before making another application, unless the project is still in progress.
- To be eligible for funding, projects must support at least one of the following:
- Access and participation: Create opportunities for local communities to engage with, and participate in local arts activities
- Diversity: Support the diverse artistic cultural traditions of local communities
- Young people: enable young people (under 18 years of age) to engage with, and participate in the arts
