The Ukrainian Women’s Fund announces a grant competition for women’s/feminist organizations of Ukraine for the development of understanding between IDPs and host communities, the integration of IDPs into communities and the strengthening of women’s participation in these processes.
It is assumed that with the support of the “Women’s Voice and Leadership – Ukraine” project, initiatives will be implemented aimed at conflict prevention and reconciliation, establishing understanding and cooperation between IDPs and host communities, better integration of IDPs into communities, and strengthening the participation of women in reconciliation processes at the local level , including by supporting the preparation and implementation of solidarity initiatives of IDPs and local communities, innovative and creative measures for understanding and integration of IDPs, creating conditions for realizing the potential of IDPs, in particular women, as a resource for community development.
Funding Information
- Grant amount: up to 20,000 Canadian dollars (according to the NBU exchange rate)
- Duration of the project: up to 12 months.
Eligible expenses: organizational support, including staff and travel expenses.
Eligibility Criteria
- To participate in the competition, interested organizations must:
- Register in the online project submission system of the Ukrainian Women’s Fund. If you have already registered in the database before, use the organization identifier received after registration to the e-mail address you specified to submit the application form. If for some reason you cannot register, or when you try to register, the system issues a message that the organization.
- Fill out the online application form on this page by December 30, 2022.
- UZHF will confirm the registration of the application by e-mail.
- All applications will be considered by the Expert Committee.
- UZHF reserves the right to:
- Continue the competition and/or recommend revision of applications based on the evaluation results;
- Make requests for additional information from applicants for proper consideration of the application;
- Do not report the reasons for rejection.
Expenditure ineligible: Construction, purchase of equipment/assets over CAD 1,000.
