The HPC Community Fund Small Grants is now open for applications to mitigate the intangible and residual impacts of the Hinkley Point C Project and associated developments on communities in Somerset or take advantage of the opportunities offered by the Hinkley Point C Project, through schemes, measures, and projects which promote the economic, social or environmental well-being of those communities and enhance their quality of life.
Funding Information
- They expect to award up to £50,000 in this round towards groups to help offset the impact of the cost-of-living crisis.
- You may apply for up to £5,000 in this grant round.
What they want to fund?
They are looking to fund organisations in Somerset, excluding BANES or North Somerset with a turnover that do not exceed £100,000 whose communities have been impacted by the HPC development as well as the cost-of-living crisis.
Eligibility Criteria
- You can apply for funding from this round of the HPC Community Fund if:
- You represent a registered charity or charitable incorporated organisation or
- A community group with a constitution or
- A community amateur sports club or
- A community interest company limited by guarantee or
- A community benefit society or
- A statutory organisation, like a parish council or a school and
- You are able to demonstrate a charitable purpose
- Your organisation or community group usually has an annual income under £100,000
- You are able to demonstrate how your community has been impacted by the development of Hinkley Point C
