The Arts Tasmania has announced the applications for the Artsbridge Program.
This program supports:
- Tasmanian individuals and groups travelling within Tasmania (intrastate), Australia (interstate) or overseas (international) for arts or cultural heritage opportunities. and
- Tasmanian individuals, groups and organisations bringing professionals to Tasmania for arts or cultural heritage activities (including professional development opportunities or workshops)

If your activity only involves travelling in Tasmania (intrastate), you can apply for:
- Up to $1,000 – Up to $10,000.
What can I apply for?

You can apply for funds towards:
- travelling in Tasmania, Australia or overseas for arts or cultural heritage activities
- bringing professionals to Tasmania to deliver arts or cultural heritage activities.
- You cannot use grant funds to purchase equipment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Arts Tasmania accepts applications from individuals, groups and organisations.

Individuals and groups
- If you are applying as an individual, you must be a practicing artist or arts worker who has been resident in Tasmania for six of the past twelve months.
- Groups must have at least one Tasmanian member.
- Students are eligible to apply for grants. However, any activity that is part of a course or contributes to course assessment is not eligible for funding.
- If you have received a grant from Arts Tasmania in the past and that grant has not been acquitted, you will not be eligible to apply to Arts Tasmania until your acquittal is accepted.

Organisations
- Organisations must be registered under law (an incorporated association, or a company limited by guarantee) or created by law (a government statutory authority).
- Organisations that are not based in Tasmania may apply to certain programs for activities that benefit Tasmanian artists or audiences.
- Organisations in receipt of multi-year operational support from Arts Tasmania are not eligible to apply to other Arts Tasmania programs for the term of the agreement.
- Tasmanian or Federal Government departments and government business enterprises are not eligible to apply to Arts Tasmania.

The following organisations are in receipt of administered funding from the Tasmanian Government and are not eligible to apply to Arts Tasmania’s programs:
- The Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery
- The Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra
- Ten Days on the Island
- The Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery
- The Theatre Royal Management Board may apply to Arts Tasmania’s programs for support towards its artistic program.
- If you or your organisation has received a grant from Arts Tasmania in the past and that grant has not been acquitted, you will not be eligible to apply to Arts Tasmania until your acquittal is accepted.
