The Give for Good has launched an open call for the Store Grant Program to assist charities that work closely with Domino’s franchisees and stores to deliver improved outcomes for their community.
Give for Good’s Giving Values
The grant can support an existing program that aligns with Give for Good’s giving values as outlined below.
- Community: Support for the economic and social well-being of people in regional, rural, and remote communities.
- Youth: Increase access to education, support health and wellness projects, and remove barriers and challenges for youth aged between 14 and 25
- Disaster Relief: Economic recovery, resilience assistance, preparedness programs, and the management of a wide range of social impacts following a natural disaster.
Funding Information
- There is a total of six individual grants up to a maximum of $20,000 available for 2023.
Eligibility Criteria
- Give for Good Store Grant Program recipients need to meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be a non-profit charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission (ACNC).
- Be based in Australia and provide service to Australian communities.
- Align with Give for Good’s giving values – Youth, Community and Disaster Relief.
- Be able to show reliable evidence of the success of the program/service to date.
- The program/service must have clearly defined outcomes and means of measuring, evaluating, and reporting its outcomes/impact six months and twelve months after receiving the grant.
- Clearly demonstrate the number of people who will be positively impacted by the provision of the grant.
- Provide opportunities for Domino’s team members to participate in events, volunteering activities, and other engagement occasions.
- Preference will be given to applicants whose program/service:
- Covers multiple of Give for Good’s giving value areas as identified.
- Can provide proof of an established relationship with the local Domino’s store that nominated the charity.
- Is registered as a Public Benevolent Institution or undertakes work considered to relieve poverty, sickness, or disadvantage.
Ineligible
Give for Good is unable to consider grant applications which include the following:
- Projects that take place in full or in part outside of Australia.
- Projects or programs that do not align with Give for Good’s giving values – Youth, Community and Disaster Relief.
- Part of a general fundraising appeal.
- Direct grants to individuals.
- General operating expenses such as salaries for staff, electricity, lease/rent payments, telephone payments, uniforms, and items are considered part of the organisation’s ongoing expenses.
- Medical research.
- Sporting related events.
