The TY Danjuma Foundation (TYDF) is currently accepting concept notes for its Grants program 2018 where all people have access to affordable quality health care, education and opportunities to realise their potentials. The Foundation’s annual grantmaking strategy is two-pronged:
- Main Grant: TYDF supports initiatives across Nigeria by inviting NGOs to apply for funding to implement projects within its focus areas.
- Taraba/Edo Community Funds: Taraba and Edo states are the home states of the founder’s family. As a result, the Foundation supports special initiatives to be implemented in those states through its community fund schemes for organisations based in the states.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants for grants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Be a registered not for profit organisation working in Nigeria;
- Possess a valid audit report of not more than two (2) years old (This does not apply to applicants under Community Funds scheme);
- Have a verifiable organisational structure;
- Verifiable community participation & government involvement in the project; and
- Demonstrable track record of engagement in similar or related projects.
