Eligibility Criteria
- ISDAO invites organizations/groups led by communities of people who use drugs, LGBTQI people and sex workers based in Burkina Faso or Nigeria to submit proposals. These will need to address advocacy needs within communities and/or facilitate/support organizational growth and capacity building in areas that will improve movement coordination.
- An organization/group can only submit one application in response to this call. The application must focus on work that will be implemented in Burkina Faso or Nigeria. ISDAO welcomes applications from organizations/groups regardless of their registration status. This means that the group or organization does not need to be registered as an organization to be eligible for this call.
- While they recognize that providing sexual and reproductive health services is part of the work of many organizations and groups, please note that this call and the Love Alliance focus on advocacy on SRHR issues and strengthening movements, and not the provision of reproductive and sexual health services (e.g. screening activities, condom distribution, medical care etc.)
- They strongly encourage organizations/groups/coalitions/consortia to submit applications that contribute to the overall goals of the Love Alliance Initiative. The grant-making system is flexible, however, they strongly encourage applications that consider the inclusion of the following groups: youth, women and others underrepresented within sex worker communities, LGBTQI and people who use drugs.
