The Khaled Hosseini Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that was started by Khaled Hosseini, the award-winning author of The Kite Runner in 2008.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, or those with fiscal funders who are designated as 501(c)(3) and that are working to provide the following in Afghanistan may apply:
- The foundation does not fund individuals, individual trips or tours, conferences or events, or projects that benefit political, religious, or military organizations.
