The UK’s Department of International Development (DFID) is accepting applications for its Burma-UK Healthcare Partnership Programme in Burma.
The comprehensive health programme is designed to tackle extreme poverty, strengthen resilience and provide improved peace and security
Components
- develop and deliver skills-based medical education, training and accreditation in Burma health institutions and support reforms to strengthen health systems;
- combat global health threats by stemming the spread of drug-resistant malaria and drug-resistant tuberculosis and ;
- improve health care in conflict-affected ethnic areas as part of the UK’s peace-building support.
