The German Embassy in Pristina has announced a call for applications to support small projects up to EUR 8,000.
Projects should be devoted to the poor and vulnerable sections of society.
Purpose of Support
- Flexible, fast and effective assistance
- Realization of basic needs for the poor and vulnerable sections of the society
Eligibility Criteria
- All registered NGOs in Kosovo can apply for this call.
- The projects supported are those, which:
- can not be self-financed by local providers (e.g. non-governmental organizations or groups) self-help);
- Include partial self-financing by the project provider, promote co-operation of the population and have long-term impact;
- do not exceed the amount of support of 8,000, – €;
- are planned so that they do not have personnel costs;
- do not create recurrent liabilities (e.g. for ongoing needs for consumer goods such as fuel, animal feed, drugs, various materials, etc.);
- Contribute to as many people as possible;
- May be realized during the calendar year 2019.
- No individuals or companies are supported. Start-up businesses are also excluded from the possibility of financial support.
How to Apply
- Project proposals must be submitted in writing or by email to the German Embassy at the address given on the website and must contain the following data:
- The application should include:
- Project holder
- The purpose of the project
- Target groups
- Planned measures and their impact on target groups
- The application must be signed by two persons responsible for the project (if the application is submitted through email, signatures should be scanned).
- In addition, the following additional documents must be submitted:
- Project Financing Plan (self financing, third party funding, financial support required by embassies) in tabular form and with corresponding expenditure notes
- Two estimates of expenditures (material supply and labor costs for project implementation, translated into German or English)
- A copy of the certificate of registration from the respective registry in Kosovo
