The United States Embassy has announced the Julia Taft Refugee Fund Program competition for fiscal year 2019 to support one time, low-cost interventions that address important gaps in refugee protection and assistance.
Focus Areas
- Advance human rights, with a focus on refugees and refugee-like groups within society;
- Enhance economic growth and development, including entrepreneurship and tourism among refugees;
- Strengthen labor rights protection for refugees in Armenia.
Funding Information
Award amounts: awards may range from a minimum of $5,000 to a maximum of $25,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- The following organizations are eligible to apply:
- Armenian not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations;
- Independent media outlets registered in Armenia.
